And they uprooted, sons of Yis'ra'el, and they encamped in plains of Mo'av, from across of Yar'den, Y'recho.
And he saw, Balaq, son of Tsipor, all of what he did, Yis'ra'el, to the Emori.
And he was in awe, Mo'av, from presences of the people, very, since being many he; and he grieved, Mo'av from presences of sons of Yis'ra'el.
And he said, Mo'av, to ones being elder of Mid'yan: 'Now they will lick, the being assembled, all of ones being around about of us as to lick the ox being green of the field.' And Valaq, son of Tsipor, one reigning of Mo'av at the time the her
And he sent ones being delegated to Bil'am, son of B'or, to P'tor that near the being flowed of land of sons of people of him to call to him, to say: 'Behold, people he came forth from Mits'rayim, behold, he covers eye of the land and he sitting from what before me.
And now, go now, cursing for me the people the this, indeed being vast he from me; perhaps I am able we strike on him and I drive out him from the land. Indeed I know when you bless being blessed and when you cursing he is cursed.
And they went, ones being elder of Mo'av, and ones being elder of Mid'yan, and ones being divined in hand of them, and they went in to Bil'am, and they spoke ones to him ones being spoken of Balaq.
And he said ones to them: 'Lodge here the night and I will make turn back you being spoken as how he speaks, Y'hovah, ones to me.' And they sat, ones commanding of Mo'av, with Bil'am.
And he came in, Elohim, to Bil'am, and he said: 'Who the men the these with you?'
And he said, Bil'am, to the Elohim: 'Balaq, son of Tsipor, one reigning of Mo'av, he sent ones to me:
Behold, the people, the one coming forth from Mits'rayim, and he covers eye of the land, now go cursing for me him, perhaps I will be able to fight with him and I will drive away him.'
And he said, Elohim, to Bil'am: 'Not you go with them; not you shall cursing the people since being blessed him.'
And he rose, Bil'am, in the morning and he said to ones commanding of Balaq: 'Go to land of you for he refused, Y'hovah, to give me to go with you.'
And they rose, ones commanding of Mo'av, and they went in to Balaq, and they said: 'He refused, Bil'am, to go with us.'
And he repeated still, Balaq, to send ones commanding ones being many and ones being honoured from these.
And they went in to Bil'am and they said to him: 'Thus he says, Balaq, son of Tsipor, not now you withhold from to come ones to me;
Indeed to honour I will honour you very, and all of what you say ones to me I will do, and come now, cursing for me the people the this.'
And he answered, Bil'am, and he said to servants of Balaq: 'If he gives to me, Balaq, being full of house of him silver and gold not I am able to cross mouth of Y'hovah, Elohim of me, to do being small or being great.
And now sit now at the this, also you the night, and I will know what he will make add, Y'hovah, to speak with me.'
And he came in, Elohim, to Bil'am night, and he said to him: 'Since to call to you, they came in, the men, rise, go with them, and only the being spoken that I speak ones to you, him, you do.'
And he rose, Bil'am, in the morning and he bound donkey of him, and he went with ones commanding of Mo'av.
And he was kindled, breathing hard of Elohim, when going he, and he was stationed, being delegated of Y'hovah, in the being trod for one being adversary of him, and he riding on donkey of him, and twos of ones being young of him with him.
NOTE: Targum Pseudo-Jonathan shows that the twos ones being young were the two sons of Bil'am.
And she saw, the donkey, being delegated of Y'hovah being stationed on the being trod, and sword of him being drawn in hand of him, and she turned, the donkey, from the being trod, and she went in the field. And he struck, Bil'am, the donkey to make turn her the being trod.
And he stood, one being delegated of Y'hovah, in gap of the vines, being walled in from this and being walled in from this.
And she saw, the donkey, being delegated of Y'hovah, and she squeezed herself to the wall, and she squeezed foot of Bil'am to the wall; and he did again to strike her.
And he did again, one being delegated of Y'hovah, to cross and he stood in place making cramped that being no being trod to turn right and left.
And she saw, the donkey, being delegated of Y'hovah, and she lay down beneath Bil'am; and he was kindled breathing hard of Bil'am, and he struck the donkey with the rod.
And he opened, Y'hovah, mouth of the donkey, and she said to Bil'am: 'What I did to you that you struck me this three times?'
And he said, Bil'am, to the donkey: 'Since you diverted yourself on me, oh being sword in hand of me that now I kill you.'
And she said, the donkey, to Bil'am: 'Not I donkey of you that you ride ones on me from still you upto the day the this, to make habit I made habit to do for you thus.' And he said: 'No.'
And he uncovered, Y'hovah, eyes of Bil'am, and he saw one being delegated of Y'hovah standing in the being trod, and sword of him being drawn in hand of him, and he stooped and he bowed before presences of him.
And he said ones to him, one being delegated of Y'hovah: 'Over what you struck donkey of you this three times? Behold, I, I came forth for one being adversary since he is precipitous the being trod at before of me.
And she saw me, the donkey, and she turned from presences of me this three times, perhaps she turned from presences of me that now indeed you I killed and her I kept alive.'
And he said, Bil'am, to one being delegated of Y'hovah: 'I sinned for not I knew that you being stationed to meet me in the being trod, and now if being evil in eyes of you let me turn back for me.'
And he said, one being delegated of Y'hovah, to Bil'am: 'Go with the men and being end the being spoken that I spoke to you him you speak.' And he went, Bil'am, with ones commanding of Balaq.
And he heard, Balaq, that he came in, Bil'am, and he went out to meet him, to city of Mo'av that on border of Ar'non that in end of the border.
And he said Balaq to Bil'am: 'Not to send I sent ones to you to call for the you? For the what not you came ones to me? Truly not I am able to honour you?
And he said, Bil'am, to Balaq: 'Behold I came in to you. Now to be able I am able to speak how or what the being spoken that he put, Elohim, in mouth of me, him will I speak?'
And he went, Bil'am, with Balaq, and they went in Qir'yat Chutsot.
And he slaughtered, Balaq, ox and sheep, and he sent off to Bil'am, and to the ones commanding who with him.
And he was in the morning and he took, Balaq, Bil'am and he made go up him heights of Ba'al, and he saw from there end of the people.
